1. Agreement

These Terms of Service govern your use of the Filebox Bookkeeping LLC ("Filebox", "we", "us") website and bookkeeping services. By signing up for a plan or submitting our contact form, you agree to these terms.

2. Services

Filebox provides bookkeeping services as described on the Services and Pricing pages: receipt inbox with OCR capture, monthly reconciliation of connected accounts, monthly financial statements, and the plan-specific features of Starter, Core, and Growth. Catch-up bookkeeping and add-ons are provided as separately priced services.

Filebox provides bookkeeping only. We do not prepare tax returns, and we do not provide tax, legal, or investment advice. Tax matters belong to your own tax professional.

3. Your responsibilities

You agree to provide accurate information, to approve read-only access to the accounts you want included, to send receipts and documents for the transactions you want categorized, and to respond to our questions by the monthly deadline (the 15th) so your statements can be delivered on time.

4. Fees and billing

Plans are billed monthly in advance at the prices shown on the Pricing page, through Stripe. Annual prepayment entitles you to one month free; autopay through Stripe earns a 5 percent discount. Add-ons and catch-up work are billed at the published rates. Prices may change with 30 days' notice by email.

5. Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time from the Stripe customer portal, effective at the end of the current billing period. No long-term contracts. We may suspend or cancel service for nonpayment, misuse of the service, or failure to provide information needed to do the work, after notice.

6. Account access

Bank and card connections are read-only: we can view transactions but cannot move money, make changes, or initiate payments on your accounts. Bill pay coordination is performed with your authorization per payment and never gives us signing authority over your accounts.

7. Confidentiality

We treat your financial information as confidential and use it only to perform the services, as described in our Privacy Policy.

8. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

Services are provided on an "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Filebox's total liability for any claim related to the services is limited to the amounts you paid Filebox in the three months before the claim arose. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for decisions you make based on our work product. The monthly statements we deliver reflect the information you provide; you remain responsible for the accuracy and completeness of that information.

9. Intellectual property

The website content belongs to Filebox. Your documents and financial data belong to you, and we provide them back to you on request.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
